Kino Euphoria
Kino Euphoria events are Kino Kabaret style workshops, or Kinos for short.
Kinos are fast-paced collaborative workshops where we pitch our ideas, form groups, make short films and watch them together in a screening! Scroll down to find out more about how Kino Kabarets work. Check our news for upcoming Kinos!
In A Nutshell
In a Kino a group of people gather together to make short films in a short period of time and then watch all of them at a local cinema.
A Kino is not a competition. It’s about collaboration, experimenting and learning. And having a good time making films!
It’s For Everyone!
You can come with or without an idea, at any skill level from newbie to hard-boiled pro, alone or with a friend, and participate in exactly the way you’re comfortable with. Anyone can do and learn anything - you can shoot a film even if you’ve never held a camera in your hands before.
Our Workshops
We organize several workshops throughout the year.
They range from weekend Kinos to our main event, a 10-day extravaganza called Kino Euphoria which gathers over a hundred international participants each year.
Our weekend Kinos are 3-4 day long workshops where we make films related to themes like Halloween and obscurity.
How it works:
Everyone introduces themselves.
Anyone can pitch an idea for a film.
Mingling. Find your crew or join one.
Intense filmmaking!
